Witches vary in their magical abilities and strengths, including timewalking, precognition, flight, transmogrification, telekinesis, witchwind, witchfire, witchwater, and manipulation of the elements. A very few witches are weavers, who can create new spells.

⎨INTUITION⎬

Elide seem to know where certain objects are, like for example she knew her way around one of her friend's kitchen and even told her where to find the candles. It's like a sixths sense, telling her things that she later discover are true. It can be smaller things like the first letters of a person's name whom she has yet to meet.

⎨PREMONITIONS⎬

Premonitions is the first ability that Elide experienced before knowing she was a witch. It is usually used subconsciously or in a dream as a nightmare but they don't usually occur that often and are usually quite vague. The ability allows her to connect to events to come in the future seen before hand, and Elide has had this power from as early as she was able to know about her father's death.

⎨TELEKINESIS⎬

Telekinesis is the ability to manipulate physical objects with only the use of the mind or an evocation of magical words. When Elide was a "newbie witch", she seemed to have full control of the power, however not as powerful as other witches, as she levitated feathers into the air with the flick of her wrist. Throughout her teen years, Elide's telekinesis became stronger but also unstable at the same time.

⎨WITCH FIRE⎬

Witch fire is the ability to create fire with the use of the mind or an evocation of magical words. Elide first used this ability when she was in a trance after a friend annoyed her, she caused the water to ignite, causing a vehicle to catch on fire. The second time was when she set fire to the kitchen after having an angry and hysterical fit after her father died.

Elide often used water to quick start fires, this was probably just to help her as she was just a "newbie witch" at the time. However, she also started to create fires whenever she was seriously mad or angry, this is usually because she has lost control as it's a sign of unstable magic that is difficult to control.

Also, when having a nightmare, she sometimes subconsciously causes her quilt to catch on fire, however, she can put it out with a wave of her hand. Minor things like trying to lit a candle seems much easier.
